New Blog Title

The new title I have attached to my blog may seem a little odd to some. In the lonely times, here, I often turn to reading the Bible and researching history; neither of those things should come as a surprise. The title is a quote from Abigail Adams (2nd First Lady of the United States), a woman I've grown to admire and respect through my recent studies; the historian/historiographer in me can't let it go without some form of citation. She used her pen to share her experiences, and like Abigail Adams I find that my "pen is always freer than my tongue."
